HOW TO PLAY QUIDDITCH IN REAL LIFE
First things first, unlike in Harry Potter, a real life Quidditch game does not involve flying brooms or the Golden Snitch. But it does have other equipment and yes, the objective remains the same – score as many goals as possible to win.The game’s objective is to win the most points by throwing the quaffle (a deflated volleyball) through the ring. There are five types of players included in the game: a keeper, a beater, a chaser, a snitch runner and a seeker.
- The chaser, an offensive player, scores goals by throwing the quaffle (a deflated volleyball) through the rings. He/she scores 10 points if thrown through the middle ring and 5 points if thrown through the side.
- The beater, a defensive player, tries to stop opponents from scoring goals by throwing bludgers (soft dodgeballs) at them.
- The keeper guards their team goals.
- The snitch runner runs with a snitch (a tennis ball inside a sock) tucked into the back of his/her shorts, evading capture by the seekers.
- The seeker hunts the snitch. He/she receives an extra 30 points if he/she catches them.

No refund will be given when an event is cancelled due to inclement weather however the event can be rescheduled to another available date at no extra cost. No refund and no reschedule will be allowed due to clients inability to attend the original event.
Events will be cancelled with no refund if our supervisors deem the participant/s are in a vulnerable state due to the influence of drugs, alcohol or inappropriate behaviour. Any changes to the event, payment will need to be made on the day.
